Things make your RV feel less like an RV and more like home. It is a problem because you want to enjoy the freedom of being on the road. You want to enjoy the fact that you can go anywhere you want, but you also want to enjoy the comforts of home.

You can do the math for the year, and it is not a pretty picture. You can rent private land at a low price, so paying $300 a month seems crazy. I have spent a good amount of time renting private land, and I have to say that I could have stayed at some nice places for the money I have spent at RV parks.

RV parks vary in the rates they charge for their nightly camping, but you can almost always expect them to be the most expensive campground in the area. Some RV parks may even be more expensive than the local motels because many RVers are looking for a place to park overnight traveling through want comfort and convenience at a price that compares to private land.

RV Parks Are Noisy

At most RV Parks, you’ll find that there is noise. From other RVs running generators to the loud noise the staff makes when they are cleaning the park. You’ll also find that there is a lot of traffic through the park. People are coming and going, coming to visit and visit friends. There are also a lot of children running around, playing with toys, and just being kids.

While most RV parks do have quiet hours, but it’s a small price to pay for spending your days reading, writing, and relaxing. For those of you who are surrounded by people the rest of the time in an atmosphere that feels like a beehive buzzing with activity, that’s perfect! Everyone is different, and just because this particular lifestyle isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, it doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to live life to the fullest.
