Before staying in a long-term or annual parking lot, it is best to make a little planning and put your choice in your destination.

Ask three questions before booking your long-term RV parking lot:

  1. What part of the world do you want to explore?
  2. Do you plan to visit some national parks during your stay?
  3. Will you go to many concerts, festivals, or events?

Choosing a place around the things you want to see and do is important. A location-based canal makes exploration easy as you don’t have to go too far from your home domain to do what you want.

Choosing Your Destination

Aside from the experiences, you hope to have along your journey, the weather and the season are other things to consider.

In-Season Long Term Camping

If the winter months are the coldest time of the year for you, consider visiting destinations in the southern part of your country during this period. With so many warm destinations to choose from it will be easy for you to find somewhere that you can enjoy while escaping the cold weather. The popularity of warmer regions during colder months is undeniable, whether it’s full-time RVing or just a yearly getaway, but especially if you’re not used to sudden changes in temperature. It’s usually very hard to get an RV spot at parks every month of the year because there are so many people trying to escape winter – but there are other alternatives!

Off-Season Long Term Camping

If you want to avoid crowds of people, consider moving to the other side where there are few tourists. A good move for winter campers would be up towards the secluded northern parts of the country’s midsection. Those who long to be in a calm atmosphere could have that chance this year in an enjoyable place in the middle of nowhere. You may even get a chance for uninterrupted time off since it doesn’t seem like there are many folks heading up this way during winter months. One thing – RVing in summers up here can be very taxing because of the excessive heat though, so make sure whichever parks you choose is looking out for potential clients with your needs in mind or knows how to deal with whatever weather may come along despite its status as a park open only during the summer months – ask questions if need-be!

How to Find Long Term RV Parking

  • RV Luxury Parks and Resorts

Private Parks

Even if websites do not advertise long-term parking, many parks and reservations with private owners offer some extended accommodations and monthly RV prices. If you find a park that does not talk about long parking, you can call them before your trip or inquire about extending your stay when you arrive.

RV Luxury Parks

Many RV luxury resorts and resorts offer only long-term RV parking. The downside to this is that they can be heavily registered. If you are planning to camp in an RV luxury area, try to book in advance.
